Hardly an alternative imho.

I have one of those Dell 30" monitors, and a Dell 24" as my second one.

The resolution of the 27" ones are pretty good these days. For the better
quality monitors.

I've had mine about that long as well. There will be tears when it falls,
that is for sure!
