[DUG] delphi crashing lost connection.

I'm stuck on this one.  I connect to an ISP and login to the MYSQL database
with Devarts software. 

In Delphi6 I used OnConnectionLost   RetryMode := rmReconnectExecute;
Not fool proof but worked well enough. 

In Delphi10, when I loose a connection, the program crashes and I get multiple
connection messages on the screen and the only way I can recover is CRTL ATL
DEL and close application.  

The time for a lost connection can be anything from 30min to 2-3 hours. I've
been through to Devart but they say it is a Delphi problem. 

Any suggestion on how to go forward and find the problem?
