Subject: [DUG] Button hints access violation

Here is an odd one – I have only seen this on one PC (Windows 7 64 bit), and on that PC only sometimes – mainly it behaves.

One program I have written in Delphi 2007 has buttons and controls with hints showing (set up the standard way in IDE at design time).

Sometimes on mousing over the control, it will throw a Windows exception and otherwise keeps running OK – but it cannot show the hint.

“Access violation at address 0047F6E0 in module Dfind.exe. Read of address 00000004.”

Any ideas?
