[DUG] Upgrade decision / Machine

I would like to upgrade from RAD 2010 to XE2 and just wonder whether I
should get Professional or Enterprise version (US$1000 difference).  My main
development is PC application with direct connection (no middle tier) to DB
server (mainly MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Firebird & probably use ADO sometime).
Future path will possibly be iOS and Android apps development.  Is EMB still
offer the option of upgrading from Professional to Enterprise (same version)
by paying the difference?

I plan to get a Mac Mini or Mac Book for future iOS development but would
like to use VM running Win7/RAD XE2 for Windows application development too.
I wonder is the performance acceptable (I mean UI response) for practical
use?  I used Corel Draw (I know!) on a dual core machine running Ubuntu +
VM(VBox + Win7) and I could not even move the cursor precisely inside Corel
Draw.  So the question in short is: Is Win7+RAD XE2 responsive on Mac with
VM.
