Hi Graham,

This depends on your hardware setup. To be perfectly honest, imho, use a 
3rd party supplier (forgot the names for the NZ ones now).

If this is going to be used for alerting/things that still need to go out 
if email is down, look into the USB modem sticks (Vodem). Let me know if 
you are, I can give you the commands to send to the unit. It is just a 
serial port :)
