Hi Guys,

Before you spread your guts on the table guys, check it out. The people running NZCS have really got it together, and have created an incredibly dynamic group now.

Long gone are the bearded types with obscure and arcane interests, outcasts from the long dismembered Government scientific organisations that I remember. ( well there may still be a few there, but they are outnumbered)

Check out the ITCP programme at http://www.itcp.co.nz/about and then review those shots from the hip. There are nearly 400 applicants being processed in the first intake. So watch this space. The qualification is being formally launched 1 October.

re the Australian ACS all I can quote is from the DIY ads on TV ( "typical") ( sorry Jeremy "N", but we did win the rugby on Saturday night !!! <g>)

The two guys at the top at NZCS, Paul Matthews and Don Robertson have done an excellent job in taking the whole organisation a step up. IMHO an ITCP qualification will become a requirement at some stage for major job applications.
