[DUG] Delphi 7 IDE slowdown

My main development pc has been running generally slow for the last few
months but it is most noticable in the Delphi 7 IDE.

D5 and d2007 both still appear to be ok.

It is on all projects - even a quick hello world now takes 26 seconds to
compile and run in D7:

D5		1 second
D7		26 seconds
D2007		2 seconds

I do have some components and some projects on a server drive, which will be
slow but that has been the case for many years whereas there has been a big
slowdown in recent times.

Any ideas?

PC Spec:
Pentium 4 HT 3.2GHz, 2GB ram, 2 x 400GB SATA plus others, XP Pro SP2

I just tried the same test on an old pc (Celeron 1.3, 512MB) and it only
took 4 seconds.
