HI all,
As mentioned earlier we have a continuing battle with (generally larger) ISP's and Network Operators who use broad brush techniques to combat the ever increasing amount of spam.
Email List Servers are a target as they "broadcast" email to many people, and when these guys detect many messages coming from one location on the NET to many of their users, they generally tend to slam the door shut.
Or they lower the priority on the delivery. ( hence the deferred delivery of messages )
This morning we attempted to get around one operator who had blacklisted the IP number of our List Server by changing the IP Number - and whammo ... out went about 2000 messages ..(. we host many other Lists as well )
So it's a continuing battle for us - if you think you have an issue, then please drop me a line at admin at delphi.org.nz.
cheers
Gary
