Hi Everyone,
As an ex-developer I have been on the Delphi mailing list since about
2001 keeping in touch with the technology (sometime I wish I'd never
left development).
Anyway I've been in recruitment from 2000 and currently seek a good
intermediate developer for a role in Auckland city. I've not used this
method previously and I don't believe I'm breaking any rules in using
this platform. However, if I am firstly I apologise and secondly I trust
someone will inform me.
This is a replacement for Delphi programmer (moving to Hamilton).
What is needed is a special type of person to fit into a small team of
developers and a tester (team fit is critical):
- a great analyst programmer
- ideally have a sound understanding of accounting principles
- a nice, flexible and professional who can enjoy a good laugh
- savvy, both IT and street smart
My client wants someone with spark and energy not just a coder; someone
who can bring new ideas and relevant experience and who can enjoy their
work and not just attend each day. I've included the JD which is on HR
speak which you will probably understand.
Salary $55K-$65K

That's a long time. ;-)
(Seriously, it's taken an hour for your message to get to me. It seems
very variable).

I don't have any problem with the list, just that it takes an hour for
the emails I sent to arrive.
I have my own email server, so looking back at the logs, I can clearly
see email to the list going straight out (almost) then nothing for an
hour (give or take a few mins either side).
For instace. The time is currently 19:54...what time do you get this
message...anyone
