Yip, all I have done in the last year or 2 is put more RAM in, havent the
need to upgrade CPU etc. 3GHz is plenty, but I am keen to upgrade to a dual
core soon.....its just the whole Delphi re-installation that I am not going
to lookforward to .....components etc. I mean

...which raises another interesting point.

We used to buy high-end to get speed. Then speeds plateaued, so we bought
mid-end, for price.

Now, we can barely be bothered buying at all. The current generations of
hardware just are't compelling. Especially when it's got Vista all over it.

Bring back 50% speed increases each year and they might recover my
attention.
