[DUG] Unused copy of Delphi 7 Enterprise

Remember the old Borland "No-nonsense License Statement" accompanying the
old Turbo range of software:

"...you must treat this software just like a book, with the following single
exception. Borland International authorizes you to make archival copies of
the software for the sole purpose of backing up our software and protecting
your investment from loss.

By saying just like a book, Borland means, for example, that this software
may be used by any number of people and may be freely moved from one
computer location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it being
used at one location while it's being used at another. Just like a book that
can't be read by two different people in two different places at the same
time, neither can the software be used..."

Unfortunately, nothing about reselling the software... but, if you treat it
"just like a book" (as they said) that surely meant that you could also sell
it (back then)?

We need a lawyer here. ;-)

To be honest, I always click ok button without question. What else can I do?
Not using Delphi for my job? ;-)

Yeah, thinking about it books are completely different. I guess the point
with a book is you can't continue to use the book if you transfer the
license so to speak.
