[DUG] CVS Software - Suggestions?

My main need for this is, I want to keep files between work and home in 
sync,
without using some sync software (tried that). Or carrying around a 
portable drive (whops I lost it / left it at work).

Maybe there is another solution...
Not to keen on having an ftp server going either..
