[DUG] D2007 and .NET

.NET 3.0 doesn't contain any language features, have to wait for "Orcas" version of VS in 2007(8) for that.

It does include Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Cardspace and Windows Communication Foundation. These were going to be pillarstones of Vista but have been unbundled so to speak, so you can infact use them with XP.
