I know the theory and having spent nearly 2 years house-hunting (you
don't want to know...) before buying, I certainly value the good agents
letting us know about properties. But I only want to deal with the
good agents and you have to suss those carefully. A good agent is
someone who will also give you the address and let you do the driveby
first anyway. The bad agent is the one that wants you to get into their
car so they can try any of their hardsell techniques and waste my time.
