Hi
My experience is that lost of site will also block anything marked as a
zip. Some will also block anything with an 'unknown extension' so your
.dat might also fail. We have one client we just cant send anything to,
neither of us can work out what his IT department (in the UK) will allow
through.
We often use ftp to transfer files (and have some simple ftp tools) but
even this is problematic. The whole thing seems a bit of a mess :)
