I am studying CG. By theory, in some situation for US$500 graphics card can
outperform US$2,000 intel high end cpu. Check www.gpgpu.org

This is a narrow view of application range. For what I do, no computer is
fast enough and surprise, java and C# don't figure. Delphi only just
fits my performance/convenience trade off and only sometimes. Otherwise
its C. If there is time cost to convenience then I want option of switching
it off.
