No, D2006 will not be .NET 2.0 compatible - Microsoft got it out too
late, they kept slipping it and changing it so it was too much of a risk
to go with.

We did some basic testing C# in the D2005 IDE and attempting to debug a
3-Tier app crawled attempting to load a large project crawled The same
could not be said of VS2005 (ok D2006 may match speed, but it is not
here now and not sure if D2006 will be .Net 2 compatible)
