having down^h^h^h^hupgraded from d3/d4 to d2005 Arch my productivity is
going backwards as I spend more time in quality central than the ide.
One of the reasons to upgrade was to get Star Team for version control
rather than daily backups to cd. I thought it would be easy to setup and be
neatly integrated to the ide. I haven't had it working for two days as the
client stopped talking to the server and for the life of me I cannot work
out why.

The other reason was I was looking at .net (if I can live with ms patents)
but the more I get into it the less attractive it seems.
