Yeah I think the correct nambi-pambi term for it is version control

Well I don't check changes into version control after every save and I sure
like to be able to change my mind after making 4 or 5 changes.

I actually have my backup limit set to the max because I like to get an
overview of all the changes I have made during the day.

Each there own.

It is a bug (that is open) that the invisible folder still gets created.
Lets hope that its fixed in the DeXter release.

There is no way to stop the creation of the invisible folder, even if you
set the number of revision to store to 0.

Why would you turn this off anyway? Doesn't make sense to me.

Its saved me a number of times.

Does anyone know of a way to disable the creation and use of the history
tabs and the invisible folders it creates? It seems like a good feature if
you don't have other  options, but I'd really like to make it stop?

Rohit, you said you found a link to registry changes? I'm sure its not
recommended.... but.
