<div dir="ltr">We've been using FireDAC for a little while now and I'm finding it works really well.<div>We currently only run against SQLite, but we do it on Windoze, Android and iOS and it works without any issues at all (we had problems on other platforms until we changed to FireDAC)</div><div><br></div><div>Personally I feel the Berlin release has been the best one so far, in terms of other platforms.</div><div><br></div><div>Our code has matured, but compiling and building apps is way quicker (in the early XE versions it took minutes to compile for android and not at all for iOS), and the start up times for the apps on the mobile platforms has speed up considerably with this version.</div><div><br></div><div>Any app's that don't directly connect to a DB (ie n Tiered) we use JSON with some of our own classes to help.</div><div><br></div><div>Is it a realistic option for multi platform. For us a present it is, would we make the same decision now if we were starting out, I don't know.</div><div><br></div><div>I think it's like all delphi development.
