<DIV>My new PC came with Norton, of which later versions generally gets a good
review. It looked good, clear and informative and light on
resources. When the free trial expired I read reviews on <A
href="http://www.av-test.org">www.av-test.org</A>, where of the free ones Avira
scored top, better overall than Eset, Norton, AVG. McAfee scored pretty
well. Top was Kaspersky – not free. Avira has free and paid
versions.</DIV>

<DIV>Gone back to Avira – scores almost top of the list for detection
rate. Avira free AV as far as I can figure uses the same
engine as the Avira Internet suite.</DIV>
