<div dir="ltr"><div>Coming from SVN, Git has several new concepts that one must learn and understand, otherwise no UI is going to help, it's just going to be more confusing. Compare to SVN the main advantage of Git is more powerful at merging changes to different branches, but it's also more complex and took me a while to get used to. You need to know more advanced features like stash/cherry-pick/rebase to make it more beneficial than SVN's simple checkout/commit.<br>

<span style="font-family:MS Sans Serif">There appears to be a somewhat unsupported project called "RAD Studio Version Insight", and there is also TortoiseGit which works like TortoseSVN by working as an extension to Windows Explorer.</span>
</p><p>
<span style="font-family:MS Sans Serif">Some feedback on best practice and any horror stories as well to keep us on the right path.</span>
