Hi Jolyon,<br><br>I bought the monitor with three years warranty, so there is no need to argue if it break in 12-18 months old. I cannot recall at that time if they offer me to buy 5 year warranty, if they do, I really should buy that. ;-(<br>

<br>:)</div>If Leigh's monitor were 12-18 months old, I'd say it was a slam dunk and Dell wouldn't/shouldn't/couldn't argue the toss. But at 4 years old I think it's far less clear cut, that's all.<br>
