I am using Vist 64Bit and D2007, but I dont know if I have noticed this error before. Maybe I have and just thought "what ever" and ignored it :-)

Jeremy

On Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 10:21 AM, Robert martin <rob@chreos.co.nz> wrote:

Just thought I would let anyone intersted know. If you run D2007, 2009
with 64bit windows you will get an 'Assertion failure:
"(!"SetThreadContext failed")"' in the IDE when exiting a Threaded
application. There is an official hotfix for D2009 but not D2007 (which
I think is bad D2007 is not THAT old, ms supports there products
longer). However there is an 'unofficial path that does fix the issue.
Our Win 7 64bit machines work like a dream now :)
Cheers
