The main improvement that i found when upgrading from D7 to D2007 was that many little subtle things in the core code had been improved or fixed, which meant I could remove many of my own personal adjustments to the code..<div>
<br></div><div>I dont really do any coding with the Visual Designer, so without having to install any code into the Designer made the upgrade process quite easy.. </div><div><br></div><div>on the projects that did use the designer and components.. I just leave them in Delphi 7.. no point upgrading a program that works.</div>
<div><br></div><div>I have a number or strange things in Delphi 2007, but not one real show stopper. nothing that makes me unproductive. I'm happy with the build.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 2:10 PM, John Bird <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:johnkbird@paradise.net.nz">johnkbird@paradise.net.nz</a>></span> wrote:<br>

A way lot easier - I don't recall any issues of any code that broke either.<br>

A little encouragement to those on D7 etc.<br>
