I have a feeling that there is a lot of memory hungry dot net code running.. I no longer use and design time features of delphi at all.. and its sitting around 200mb.. Every time I do a rebuild it grows.. every time I open any designtime forms etc (when I used to) then it grew dramatically..

Safe to say, that now that I don't use any designtime features my productivity is much improved.

On Thu, Apr 16, 2009 at 12:02 PM, Jeremy Coulter <jscoulter@gmail.com> wrote:
There are memory leaks in D2007 when working on large Pas files. These
are in QC and have never been fixed. The only option if you have large
pas files is to occasionally close and re open.
Admittedly my current machine only has 2GB (new machine has been
ordered....YAY) but seriously, thats HEAPS.
In saying that, I notic that FireFox is sitting on 131mb too.

just wondered if this is a common issue, and if there is a solution to
it or not.
