offering a fix for it if it isn’t too hard. CodeGear aren’t Microsoft, they can’t
dictate things (and even Microsoft irk me everytime they force me to use IE to
access their internal partner/SPLA/etc websites) and part of their strength
needs to be working with a wide range of other tools.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

New versions of Delphi should talk to everything that old versions do IMO.<br>
If they don't then there should be a good reason for it (eg if the database<br>
is no longer in serious use which doesn't apply to Firebird).<o:p></o:p></p>
