Here is what I am trying to acheive.<br>

I need a wee app. that will run like a windows service, I guess its a Daemon in
Linux, that looks at a dir. for a file,a nd if the file exists, send the
contents out a comport or better still <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
w:st="on">TCP</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Port</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
to an IP address<br>

Its not rocket science, but liek I say, not being a Linux person I am not too
clear on some of the bits and peices around linux, but I DO know that most of
the controls I would use are availible for Kylix and I use them in Win32, so I
have a head start there....sort of :-)<br>
