No Pixels will still be square and things will get rendered with the
correct aspect ratio. The exception would be if you ran the screen out
of its native resolution. If rendering circles is really important
you'll be able to render a bigger one in a 4:3 ratio screen (because
they fit better)<br>

I've got a wide screen laptop (17") and don't find that too wide.
Perhaps at 19" or 30" this may be an issue. Something worthy of note
is that a 17" widescreen as a fair bit less screen than a 17" 4:3
aspect ratio screen - if they were the same price I'd go for the 4:3
screen.<br>

That really depends on the CAD applications which I don't know anything
about, however if they are standard windows applications you probably
wont have a problem<br>
