been suggested that I choose a widescreen monitor as being the best option but
I'm not so sure. I have an LCD projector in my home theatre (so I don't
need a screen to watch multimedia on my PC) however it has a
native 16:9 format which isn't always the best.</FONT></DIV>

size=2>slide it towards the screen for 3 x 4 viewing so I don't bother. As a
result, for TV viewing, footballers look chubby like a rugby ball on its

widescreen monitor? Will my CAD applications draw squashed circles or can
I set them up to maintain the correct ratios?</FONT></DIV>

hence have to reduce the vertical picture size?</FONT></DIV>

horizontally but is this going to be distracting or can it be put to use by
better arranging the desktop, or even allowing room to put an application's
