<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Just trying to read an excell spreadsheet using an ADO connection and continually get a "Could not find installable ISAM" error. Using Delphi 7 and the following connection string </font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">'Data Source=%s;' +</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">'Extended Properties=Excell 97;';</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Machine has XP Pro and Office 2000 installed, but using Excell 2000 as last line makes no difference? MSDN has very little info on this file except in relation to very eraly version of Access on Win95 /Win98.</font>
