solution using mysql with a delphi client. All going fine, except that due to a
licensing issue, mysql cannot be compiled for windows to support ssl, the end
user (me) must define the variable myself and compile mysql server.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>To do this you need VC++, boo hoo, just wondering
if anyone on the list has a version of VC++ up, running and compilable that
might be able to help me out.</FONT></DIV>
