If you’re using BDE check the BDE administrator app in Control Panel and make sure under Configuration->System->Formats->Date that the SEPARATOR value is correct.

Then make sure that you have the correct date format in Windows Control Panel-> Regional and Language that the date format is correct.

You need both of these set to the same separator value to work correctly.

I have re-installed an old Delphi application using Paradox. I’m getting the error message “Failed Calculating Fields: ‘01/06/2017’ I not a valid date”.

Changing Microsoft’s ShortDate format works, but is messing up all my other applications.

I remember a Paradox date format setting but can’t remember how. Can anybody help me?
