Thank for that but it doesn't appear to be useful in this case
unfortunately.

 

I wonder if there is some sort of proxy server that could do the
translation.

 

I guess using Indy 10, I could write a simple proxy server that accepts an
http connection on ipv4 and forwards that to an ipv6 server, and data
received from ipv6 server is sent back to the ipv4 client.
