Yeah. It's all very well to say program in <insert language here> but it is
rather difficult to just do that if you have half a million lines of Delphi
code that you would like to compile in too.

I have Basic for Android which is super cool, and good support plus other
nice things.....but the idea of using the same (or at least close to) code
for iOS and android IS appealing.

If you want the speed, you can program in C#. I am writing code in C for
android which is free too using ndk-build. :-)
