you can use IntraWeb + jQuery instead of SilverLight... just yesterday I started making a component set to use jQueryMobile along with IntraWeb. jQuery + jQueryMobile is quite impressive and jointing both with IntraWeb you have a very attractive platform  to work with...

he simple question is that no need to spend effort to develop silverlight for web browser? Just use html5 + JQuery
