I saw Prometheus too.

Visually quite a classic and quite beautiful in parts. The sequences of flying through landscape are beautiful 3d.    There is a lot visually that refers back to the original alien spaceship at the beginning of “Alien” -  but the story left a lot unanswered – more in the sense they didn’t have answers than a greater mystery being unfolded.  So very good, not great, or great but not classically great.

I saw prometheus.. I have to admit that I didn't like it as much as I wanted to like it.. but i did enjoy it. I felt the story left too much unsaid.. perhaps they'll do a part 2.
