Dell's support in our region is setup for Australia so they would tend to
start a bit later than we would like, but you should get an answer by 11am I
would think. Odd.

Thanks for the clarification for the contents insurance policy.

Sad for me is while I was programming the code and monitor was off. I assume
that is not an accident.

I plan to repair it and pay myself. It seems dell is not answering the phone
even after 11am. I am wondering what is their normal office hours.

Clearly this wouldn't be covered under the CGA - not normally even under an
extended product warranty.  But unfortunate accidents are a fact of life,
and that's why we have general insurance for such things.  :)
