[DUG] DBISAM or Advantage

SQL is not so hard to learn – if you are  going to learn anything new its amongst the more straightforward, and there are excellent references online, eg

TQuery, connected to TProvider, TClientDataset and TDatasource (or you could use TTable but TClientDataSet has advantages) and BDE is a simple matter to connect to eg Firebird or Interbase etc.

I used DBISAM for a number of years. It has a solid reputation.
