I've had a browse on the internet and all I can find is either adds telling us how Rapid SQL connects to Firebird; or forms telling us that no-one has found a way to make Rapid SQL to connect to a Firebird database.

I though it might be a version thing so I unloaded firebird  2.5 and downloaded and installed Firebird 2.0 - with exactly the same result.

If someone has connected to the EXAMPLE.FDB database that comes with Firebird can you please tell me what you did?
