Whoops! My bad! I didn't check to see which edition of Delphi that belonged to.

Have you tried using the IB components that come with DXE2 Pro
(TIBDatabase, TIBTransaction, TIBQuery, etc). I just tried hooking it
up to a FB 2.5 database using the default settings and it seems to
work. This doesn't constitute as extensive testing so I don't know if
there are any gotchas down the track.
