FWIW I have ver 10.2.3 here running on D2007 and also D7. Have no issues
that I know of with this ver, but I certainly had problems with previous
versions (from memory something to do with commas or periods in HTML mime
part of email).
 
This may be too old for what you want though.

D2009. I had the version released with Delphi, but had problems with
attachments in TidAttachmentFile. Suggestions on the net were to upgrade to
the latest version (10.46.04?), but this won't install. A problem in
idWinSock2 (won't compile). Now I can't get any version (I can download) to
install L
