[DUG] Inserting a picture

I'm trying to insert a picture into a BLOB field, I found this on the web but I get an error Undefined TBlobField. 

   if OpenPictureDialog1.Execute then begin
       TBlobField(dm.tblmed.FieldByName('Pics')).LoadFromFile(OpenPictureDialog1.FileName);
   end;

Not sure what to do ?
