Unfortunately it happens outside the IDE as well.

Architect. I'm not using DBExpress (well not explicitly) as I'm using
Devart's UniDAC for everything database for this project. I've narrowed
it down to TDataSource though as the problem still occurs when all
UniDAC components and units have been removed and just adding a
TDataSource (and DB unit reference) causes the problem.
I must say this is really disappointing. There clearly is no licensing
issue (unless the use of a TDataSource is bound to complex and funny
license agreements), so I wonder what Embarcadero was thinking when they
put this kind of non-sense in the VCL/RTL?
Would anyone have an idea how I can get to the bottom of this?
