[DUG] Design Patterns book

Hi Malcolm,

I've only read the Clean Coder book and I've only glanced at the Clean
Code book in the bookstores a while back.

I think the differences between the two books is the point of focus.
Clean Coder seems to be all about the programmer and what we can do to
be a better programmer. For example, the chapter on Test Driven Design
doesn't go so much into the details of how to do TDD but discusses the
"human" reasons why we should do it and some of the "human" motives
(anti-patterns?) why people are scared to change existing code.
Whereas, Clean Code seems to be all about the code and how to make it
more maintainable, more readable etc.

I find the Clean Coder can be a bit preachy but there are still some
useful bits of info to take from it without going so hardcore.
