[DUG] Problems with Com stuff on Win7

  I have an eftpos terminal driver written in delphi 2007.

On XP, it works fine with standard ports and USB-Serial converter.
But on Vista and Win7, it works fine only with the onboard ports.  It 
will not work with the USB-Serial converter.

I am using a Prolific USB to Serial converter.

Does anyone know what may be the problem.

Whats curious is that a VB app that uses the ocx comm driver works under 
all circumstances.
