$2000 if you ignore the $2000 worth of internet and phone service which
still costs $2000 even if you dont get the phone. so, I'd take that as an
opportunity cost at worst if you didn't need a phone plan. But then what
point is a phone without the plan to test it on.
My father has the google phone, I have the 3g iphone. In almost all ways I
can imagine the iphone leaves it for dead. Vodafone is providing a cut back
OS with limited features that sucks. In trying to upgrade to one of the open
versions of the OS he keeps stuffing his phone up.
I've bought many Apps for the new iphone and never paid more than $8 for
products of excellent quality including some very cool games that would cost
$60+ on a PSP.
I'd also say that Google Maps on the iPhone works better than google maps on
the Google phone.. (Better interface)
