I used C# for 3 year, came back to Delphi and am now going back to c#.
C# is more like Java done right (primarily by adding delphisms :) ) than Delphi done right.
The main drawback for me (and why I still use Delphi for some applications) are the size of the runtime and the lack of native code compilation. Neither of these are a problem is some applications (e.g. web design) so I am moving to C# for those.
Some things in C# are much better than Delphi. E.g. garbage collection (dons flameproof armour), Linq, reflection (less so now), tooling (coderush sob), the libraries, linq ...
