[DUG] Data Explorer

I'm using BDS 2006 to try to follow a demo that creates a Windows Form
Application - Delphi for .Net. The demo is using the Borland Data Provider.
It begins by using the Data Explorer to connect to the Northwind database.
This is an Advantage Database demo so the person has installed Advantage and
Advantage is listed in the Data Explorer.
When I open Data Explorer I have the following choices:
Is there any way for me to connect to the Northwind database? Or for that
matter to connect to any database? I've tried several of the databases that
Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express shows as being attached to
PROGRAMMING\SQLEXPRESS (SQL Server 9.0.3077 - PROGRAMMING\Charlie). I only
get errors, which depend on what I have done when I modify the connection
from within Data Explorer. I can access the database in Visual Studio 2005.
Sorry to be such a pain, but as I've said I'm a novice.
Thank you,
Charlie
