[DUG] Stable Indy 10?

Hi there,
I need to write a simple SMTP client app in D7 using open source
code for a non-commercial client. Alas, their mail server requires
MD5 login, which Indy9 doesn't seem to support.
The Indy 10 spec. looks up to par, but I can't get hold of a stable
version from the Indy project site -- only a daily snapshot is
available, and the current one certainly doesn't compile in D7. Nor
does the single older/deprecated version they link to.
So:
1. Does anyone happen to have a stable/compiling-with-D7 version of
Indy 10 they could send me? I tried back-porting the ones which come
with later Rad Studio builds but there are immediate compatibility
issues
2. Failing that, can anyone point me at an adequate freeware/open
source SMTP component for D7? I've peeked at the Synapse library and
could probably get it into shape with effort, but frankly it's a bit
of a mess.
Thanks!
cheers,
peter
